Rz Ball Bearings have a Rubber Seal on one side to keep dirt, dust, and moisture out of the 

bearing and a Metal Shield on the other side for maximum bearing efficiency with less 

protection on that side. These bearings work best where one half of the bearing is exposed 

to outside elements, while the other half is not. Install bearing with the Rubber Seal facing 

outward.
