Celery, a familiar vegetable we daily use, belongs to umbellifarae famlily, prevailing plants all over the country. It was cooked as salad or fried meal , which has very high medicine effects.
The leaf of cellery contains carotene and Vc, which is more higher than stem, so do not get rid of it when we cook it. Put cellery into the boiling water and take it out immediately, that will not only keep it's green color but also save cooking time.
