The Uniflow Walk-In Fume Hood features a molded, one-piece seamless liner with coved corners for ease-of-cleaning. The superstructure is manufactured from fire-retardant, chemical-resistant composite materials using a minimum of metallic parts.

The hood is equipped with a removable VariFlow baffle to direct air through the fume chamber. A vapor-proof, two-tube fluorescent light fixture is mounted behind a glass panel with a column-mounted light switch. All electrical fixtures are UL-approved, and the fume hood is shipped completely assembled.

It is characterized by a very tall and deep chamber that can accommodate large pieces of equipment. XY-LABS have been designed with horizontal doors. They can also be designed with vertical doors if demanded.

Besides being available in a wide range of models, XY-LABS Hoods are designed to offer the complete solution to laboratory ventilation concerns. Integrated components including fume hoods, blowers, ducts, electrical services, plumbing options and base cabinets combine to provide a safe, efficient fume hood system for your laboratory.

The Test Laboratory is equipped with proper room pressurization system which generates air to be exhausted from the Fume Hoods being tested. The airflow is designed to provide turbulence free air entry at the front of the Hood. The test room has tight room envelope and precision electronic controls to maintain proper room pressurization.

Fume Hoods Models like Bench Fume Hoods, Walk-In Fume Hoods, Low-Bench Fume Hoods, Special Purpose Fume Hoods, Customised Fume Hoods of assorted sizes from widths of 750 mm up to 2400 mm and with Liners like FRP, Polypropylene and with work surfaces ranging from Fibre Glass, Stainless Steel, Plastic Sheets, Epoxy Coated Steel, Ceramic Tiles, Granite and Imported Solid Epoxy Tops. Different Fume Extraction Systems are also provided for Fume Hoods like AAV, CAV and VAV (Conventional, By-Pass Air, Restricted By-Pass and Auxiliary Air).
