The Duplex Tower Mount Booster (TMB) is designed to expand signal coverage through enhancing the uplink receiving sensitivity in the area where call drops and handoff failures happen frequently.

In comparison to Simplex TMB, it can let the downlink signal pass through, which is applicable to the case when the Tx antenna and Rx antenna are the same for the BTS.

It is installed on the top of telecommunication tower and below the BTS antenna to amplify the mobile signal via a low-noise amplifier before the signal is transmitted to the BTS.
