Manufacturing technique

During the ASTM A53 spiral steel pipe manufacturing process, heat treatment, 

non-destructive test and hydrostatic test are not required.

The maximum outer diameter for the ASTM A53 spiral steel pipe is 3048mm. The maximum 

wall thickness is 25.4mm and the maximum length for a single pipe reaches 20000mm.

Applications

The ASTM A53 spiral steel pipe is commonly used for tubular steel pipe piles, the structural 

support piles and cast-in-situ concrete piles.
