The Gibson SG Standard Dickey Betts Aged and Signed is an extremely accurate copy modeled after Dickey's original 1961/62 SG, a gift from Dickey to Duane Allman making it "From One Brother To Another." It has been given Gibson's unique aging process and finally approved by Dickey himself. The one-piece body is made of mahogany and comes in an aged Vintage Red finish. The set mahogany neck features a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with the distinctive Betts' touch of banjo fret wire. The two Custom Buckers provide a complete range of tones from warm for jazzy 9th and major 7th chords, to middle-pickup-setting for singing, stinging, Southern-style pickin'. This model is the aged and signed version, limited to only 75 units, played on by Dickie, and includes a certificate of authenticity with original signature.
