For this, the national power authority has developed from 2013 to 2017, power plants and power supply system five years development plan, the total budget is 300 billion baht, 60% were power plant investment, while 40% for investment of power supply system. Four coal-fired power plants, a total of 7 units and 1 hydroelectric power station unit 2 in the reconstruction after the expansion, will greatly reduce the coal consumption and the cost and increase the generating capacity.
