Xin Yang Mao Jian tea is a green tea produced in the Henan province of China. It is designated as a China Famous Tea.
The leaves are curled into little spirals that unfurl while brewing, and they are covered in fine, silver fibers. Mao Jian literally means "hairy tips" referring to the appearance of the tea leaves. The liquor is pale golden green and the flavor has extreme clarity and brightness, with only a hint of sweetness and floral tone.
