Bamboo Gift Box (1)Huangshan Maofeng is produced in the Huangshan Mountain of Anhui province.Top quality Huangshan Maofeng is the masterwork among all kinds of "Mao feng"; teas.Only a bud with a single unfolding leaf is plucked to produce the top grade Huangshan Maofeng. The tea leaves look like tongue of sparrow. Again, it's even and strong, covered with silver floss. Especially, the ivory bud and golden fish leaf is the particular character of Huangshan Maofeng differentiated from other "Maofeng" teas. The cup of huangshan Maofeng is clean and light yellow. The taste of Huangshan Maofeng is fresh,heavy and mellow.The pure aroma is high and long-lasting after taste. The tealeaves after infusion are tender yellow in color.
Huangshan Maofeng, which are graded according to their quality, entered the tea market of London, Paris and Southeast Asian countries as early as 1976, and became world famous. It was listed as National Famous Tea in the Tea Appraisal Meeting held in Changsha in 1982.
