Steel Line manufactures a range of stainless steel dissection, staining and trimming tables for hospital and commercial laboratories. These dissection tables are used in histopathology departments and can incorporate formalin dispensing systems either semi or fully automatically.
The top is compression molded of an organic fiber-reinforced phenolic core with an integrally cured thermoset resin surface, which is stronger than epoxy over time and not as brittle. The frame is epoxy coated. Flexible and innovative, the MetroMax design allows users to add or remove accessories and components as needs change over time. Rounded corners and smooth surfaces allow for easy cleaning.
Constructed of solid oak, oak and hardwood veneers, this table features a center cabinet with lock, adjustable shelf, and rubber base molding. This table is available with plain or book compartment aprons and comes in both single (2 student) and double faced (4 student) models. The center cabinet is available with two locking drawers or as a plain base cabinet. This unit is available without complete line of top materials to satisfy every requirement or budget.
The general construction of these tables in S316 grade stainless steel, includes a sink, lever arm mixer taps and a perforated worktop manufactured in sections which sits above the sump. Where specified in excess of 300mm of knee space when seated, is part of the standard design and storage cupboards can be fitted to the underside of the dissection table.
These finely crafted units feature solid oak, oak and hardwood veneers. They provide a convenient 4 person workstation that can be installed throughout the laboratory for maximum space efficiency. Both units provide ample space for 4 people and are available in 54" or 60" solid 1" epoxy resin tops.
The center pedestal with apron comes equipped with 4 drawers and 4 GFI protected AC duplex receptacles. Accessories include two multiservice fixtures, 4 rod sockets and a 16" x 16" x 7" solid epoxy sink with strainer, stopper and trap. The center pedestal has a removable panel to access utilities. The drawer cabinet unit features the same accessories as the pedestal unit. 16 larger drawers replace the 4 smaller drawers in the pedestal unit.
