Sri Lankan phone market is a very much diverse one. There are many mobile brands available in the country. There are phones in different price ranges and different categories.
When it comes to phone brands all the world-class brands are available in the country. Among them are Nokia, Sony Ericsson, iPhone, LG and Samsung are few. In addition, there are new brands of phones available here too. Micromax and Karbon are two of them. But in my personal opinion, I love the Samsung Galaxy range. For me, although the experience is personal, Galaxy outperforms iPhone in most of the aspects including price. For me, Galaxy feels faster and more reliable. As it runs Android, you are not bound by the limitations of a single seller. You have many people developing simple apps to make your life much easier. And the best art is most of these apps are free. And they have a beautiful looking screen with a great web browsing experience. They support Falsh which is not supported by Apple. So no issues with the web pages. In addition to all these, Samsung Galaxy is less expensive than an iPhone in the Sri Lankan market.But what we have to understand Apple products represent a life style. It is about elegance, it is about what you value in life. So by no means I think Apple fans will go for any other products in my opinion.Mobile handsets are being used extensively among various segments of 'next generation' people. Today, the mobile market is flooded with network providers and phones. To be the 'best' in market, the manufacturers are coming up with several high-tech gadgets. The latest handset from the well-known manufacturers comprise of multimedia capabilities, intuitive designing and connectivity options. Furthermore, this undoubtedly raises the value of the handset.
