Polyether imide (Polyetherimide, referred to as PEI) is superengineering plastics manufacturing amorphous polyetherimide no, has the best high temperature resistance and dimensional stability, andchemical resistance, flame retardant, electrical resistance, high strength, high rigidity and so on, PEI resin can be widely applied tohigh temperature terminal, IC base, lighting equipment, FPCB (FPC),liquid conveying equipment, aircraft parts, medical equipment andhousehold appliances, etc.
Characteristic
(1) PEI is characterized with high strength, high rigidity, wear resistance and dimensional stability at high temperature.
(2) PEI isamber transparent solid, do not add any additives have inherent flame resistance and low smoke density, oxygen index is 47%, the combustion grade UL94-V-0.
(3) the PEI density is 1.28~1.42g/cm3,the glass transition temperature is 215 ℃, thermal deformationtemperature of 198~208 ℃, 160~180 ℃ can be used in the long term, to allow maximum use temperature interval is 200 ℃.
(4)the PEI has excellent mechanical strength, electrical insulation properties,radiation resistance, high and low temperature resistance and fatigue resistance and processing; the addition of glass fiber, carbon fiber or other filler to enhance the modified objective.
