Detailed Product Description
Solar geysers
Solar geysers are proving to be one of the most affordable
solutions that can make a difference with worldwide energy crisis.
Solar geysers have shown to be one of the most effective ways to
massively save on electricity consumption in the long haul. JINYI
are planning significant price hikes over the next few years to
fund the decaying infrastructure. There is even talk that solar
geysers will be compulsory in houses within the next couple of
years.
Our range of residential solar geysers
offer:
Excellent value for money.
A great return on investment.
Significant savings of up to 40% on monthly electricity
bills.
Major environmental Benefits.

your house to an efficient electricity saver with solar
geysers.
Global warming and climate change is some of the side effects
that we experience. Most countries around the world is using solar
heating system to help the fight against global warming and climate
change.
We at Solar Geysers Guarantee you the best products for Solar
Heating.
Components
No additional storage tank is necessary - we use your existing
geyser.
18 or 24 aesthetically pleasing tubes nearly 2 metres long catch
the energy from the sun and heat the water. These collecting tubes
have a life expectancy of more than 30 years.
Called a Wilo pump, this 3 speed hot water circulation pump
moves the heated water around the system.
With this device, you can set the temperature at which the
element of your geyser will be switched on should the water
temperature drop below a certain level.
Lets say it is a particularly cloudy day and everyone has had
their showers and the temperature of the water is below 45 degrees.
Your existing geyser will then kick in and heat up the water.
As long as the temperature is above 45 degrees, your electricity
will be turned off. In the South African climate, this will be very
seldom depending on where you live in the country but in the
highveld, it will be fairly rare.
This is a great electricity saver as your geyser will only be
activated when absolutely necessary.
How the system works
The solar collectors hold a relatively small volume of water.
The collectors convert solar energy into heat and the water in the
collector is heated up.
When the controller detects that the water in the collector is 8
degrees warmer than the water in the geyser, the water circulation
pump is activated and the warm water is circulated into the geyser
and replaced with the cooler water from the geyser. This water is
now heated until it is 8 degrees warmer than the geyser and this
cycle is continued all day long until the desired temperature is
reached or the sun goes down.
The controller also has control over the geyser element and if
the temperature in the geyser drops below a certain temparature,
the element heats up to heat the water. The element is only
activated when it is absolutely necessary to heat the water.
