Detailed Product Description

Overview
Googe technology enables the use of highly optimized heat sink designs that can effectively increase 3-D packaging densities, reduce part counts and labor at assembly, and normalize thermal gradients within a DC/DC converter. Googe replaces older, flat-based heat sinks and individual insulators that were used in combination to meet safety agency criteria. The older combinations inherently limited packaging densities and performance while requiring time-consuming assembly. The thin coating of Googe powder provides excellent heat transfer with inherent 3-D dielectric safety (inherent U.L. creepage and clearance -- no porosity like anodize coatings
Dielectric isolation of 2,250 Vdc (including the knee - see photo)
Reduces part counts and labor at assembly
Widens operating temperature specifications
Significantly improves overall thermal performance when compared to traditional flat heat sinks and pads Eliminates the need for thick gap fillers
Custom configurations available through processes such as casting, extruding, stamping or machining U.L. Recognition
RoHS compliant
Manufactured in an ISO9001:2000 certified facility
