Medium pressure relief valve is to prevent exceeding the specified value your safety valves.

Safety valve in the pipeline, when the medium pressure exceeds the set value, the valve will automatically open the discharge of excess medium; and when the pressure returns to the specified value, and automatically turns off.

A. Commonly used term safety valve:

① Opening pressure: when the medium pressure rises to a predetermined pressure value, the valve will automatically open, the media quickly ejected, then the pressure at the valve inlet called the opening pressure.

② Discharge pressure; valve is opened, such as equipment line of medium pressure continues to rise, the valve should be fully open, emissions rated medium displacement, when the pressure at the valve inlet called the discharge pressure.

③ Closing pressure: safety valve opens, the discharge part of the media, the device decreases the pressure in the pipeline, when the working pressure is reduced to less than a predetermined value, the valve closed, opening height is zero, the medium stops flowing. Then the pressure at the valve inlet called the closing pressure, also known as the back seat pressure.

④ Working pressure; equipment to work in the medium pressure is called working pressure. Safety valve in a sealed state at this time.

⑤ Displacement: the discharge valve is fully open state medium, the outlet from the valve of the medium measured at the discharge amount per unit time is called the displacement of the valve.
