The Peruvian government has issued a decree banning the import, processing or sales of China's production of "yo-yo" children's toys. Currently, this toy have a large number of sales in Peru Business Center.
This ban is promulgated under the proposal of the Peruvian Environmental Health Department. The agency warned that the "yo-yo" made of synthetic rubber containing high toxicity and pollution the benzene aromatic hydrocarbons as well as the type of E. coli, pose a great hazard to the health of the children. If a child is eating, also may produce weakness, dizziness, trembling spasm, shortness of breath, blurred vision and other symptoms of poisoning. In addition, children may also be a "yo-yo" elastic rubber rope entangled in the neck, the risk of suffocation.
The organization said that, Argentina, Chile, the United States, Nicaragua, Honduras and other countries have issued alerts and ban, prohibit the import and sale of this kind of "yo-yo" toys.
